Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 1,533,809 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in New York and they represented 7.84% of the total population of New York in 2012. Queens County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (558,438), followed by Kings County (287,852), and New York County (189,713). On the other hand, Hamilton County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (27), followed by Schuyler County (75), and Lewis County (85).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Queens County had the highest percentage (24.58%), followed by New York County (11.68%), and Kings County (11.21%).
