Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 336,174 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in North Carolina and they represented 3.22% of the total population of North Carolina in 2020. Wake County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (89,885), followed by Mecklenburg County (71,347), and Guilford County (28,478). On the other hand, Hyde County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (31), followed by Gates County (41), and Washington County (44).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Wake County had the highest percentage (7.95%), followed by Orange County (7.83%), and Mecklenburg County (6.39%).
