United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2012

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 15,718,071 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.01% of the total US population in 2012.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,066,867), followed by New York (1,533,809), and Texas (1,066,401). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (4,901) followed by Montana (6,908), and North Dakota (8,167).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (37.26%), followed by California (13.35%), and New Jersey (8.75%).
