United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2021

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 19,811,597 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.97% of the total US population in 2021.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,992,155), followed by New York (1,836,310), and Texas (1,567,512). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,793) followed by Montana (10,721), and Vermont (12,923).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (35.94%), followed by California (15.31%), and New Jersey (10.20%).
