United States Non-Hispanic Asian alone Population By State in 2021

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 19,788,306 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in the United States and they represented 5.96% of the total US population in 2021.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,999,842), followed by New York (1,827,772), and Texas (1,579,312). On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (5,779) followed by Montana (10,666), and Vermont (12,844).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Hawaii had the highest percentage (36.44%), followed by California (15.33%), and New Jersey (10.15%).
