Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (349,948), followed by Wake County (225,798), and Guilford County (187,683). On the other hand, Mitchell County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (110), followed by Graham County (134), and Clay County (147).
