Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 8,121,380 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 63.04% of the total population of Illinois in 2012. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,278,865), followed by DuPage County (644,250), and Will County (453,011). On the other hand, Pulaski County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (3,768), followed by Pope County (4,004), and Hardin County (4,103).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Calhoun County had the highest percentage (98.11%), followed by Shelby County (97.95%), and Jasper County (97.76%).
