Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 7,378,342 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Illinois and they represented 58.79% of the total population of Illinois in 2023. Cook County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (2,067,553), followed by DuPage County (580,875), and Will County (412,828). On the other hand, Alexander County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (2,943), followed by Pulaski County (3,061), and Hardin County (3,327).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Greene County had the highest percentage (96.88%), followed by Jasper County (96.7%), and Shelby County (96.37%).
