Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 1,248,935 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Maine and they represented 94.01% of the total population of Maine in 2013. Cumberland County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (260,663), followed by York County (189,550), and Penobscot County (144,601). On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (16,475), followed by Washington County (29,188), and Franklin County (29,284).
