Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, there were 6,572,329 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in North Carolina and they represented 62.59% of the total population of North Carolina in 2019. Wake County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (662,408), followed by Mecklenburg County (513,354), and Guilford County (265,124). On the other hand, Tyrrell County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (1,937), followed by Hyde County (3,021), and Washington County (5,147).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Madison County had the highest percentage (94.07%), followed by Clay County (92.77%), and Ashe County (92.33%).
