Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, there were 5,016,116 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Tennessee and they represented 72.42% of the total population of Tennessee in 2020. Davidson County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (388,202), followed by Knox County (386,958), and Shelby County (316,300). On the other hand, Lake County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (4,658), followed by Pickett County (4,813), and Van Buren County (5,904).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Scott County had the highest percentage (97.03%), followed by Hancock County (96.74%), and Campbell County (96.35%).
