Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, there were 585,937 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Vermont and they represented 93.65% of the total population of Vermont in 2014. Chittenden County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (144,162), followed by Rutland County (57,581), and Washington County (55,846). On the other hand, Essex County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (5,902), followed by Grand Isle County (6,521), and Lamoille County (23,885).
