United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2011

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 197,504,923 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 63.39% of the total US population in 2011.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (14,980,539), followed by Texas (11,507,641), and New York (11,312,725). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (219,301) followed by Hawaii (311,152), and Alaska (459,735).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (94.31%), followed by Vermont (94.13%), and West Virginia (93.01%).
