United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2012

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, there were 197,670,733 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 62.98% of the total US population in 2012.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (14,959,968), followed by Texas (11,590,061), and New York (11,277,237). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (226,625) followed by Hawaii (313,094), and Alaska (460,657).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (94.18%), followed by Vermont (94.00%), and West Virginia (92.88%).
