United States Non-Hispanic White alone Population By State in 2016

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 197,927,872 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in the United States and they represented 61.26% of the total US population in 2016.

California had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (14,777,771), followed by Texas (11,868,490), and Florida (11,306,302). On the other hand, District of Columbia had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (250,436) followed by Hawaii (315,764), and Alaska (453,602).

When it comes to the percentage of each state's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Maine had the highest percentage (93.48%), followed by Vermont (93.13%), and West Virginia (92.32%).
