Illinois Hispanic or Latino Population By County in 2010

Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 2,034,276 hispanics or latinos (of all racial backgrounds) in Illinois and they represented 15.84% of the total population of Illinois in 2010.

Cook County had the highest number of hispanics or latinos (1,247,865), followed by Kane County (158,729), and Lake County (140,542). On the other hand, Calhoun County had the lowest number of hispanics or latinos (42), followed by Scott County (44), and Hardin County (57).

When it comes to the ratio of hispanic to non-hispanic population, Kane County had the highest percentage (30.76%), followed by Cook County (24%), and Boone County (20.26%).
