According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the net domestic migration for Connecticut was -22,042. Windham County had the highest net domestic migration (-328) followed by Middlesex County (-409), and Tolland County (-449). On the other hand, Fairfield County had the lowest net domestic migration (-8,161), followed by New Haven County (-5,700), and Hartford County (-4,940).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
