According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for Idaho was 28,586. Canyon County had the highest net domestic migration (5,653) followed by Ada County (4,890), and Kootenai County (3,366). On the other hand, Madison County had the lowest net domestic migration (-80), followed by Blaine County (-24), and Clark County (7).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
