Louisiana Net Domestic Migration By County in 2016

According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2016, the net domestic migration for Louisiana was -13,134. St. Tammany Parish had the highest net domestic migration (2,383) followed by Livingston Parish (1,655), and Ascension Parish (1,082). On the other hand, Caddo Parish had the lowest net domestic migration (-3,343), followed by East Baton Rouge Parish (-2,325), and Jefferson Parish (-2,161).

Net Domestic Migration for a given county refers to the the difference between number of people moving to the county from other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and number of people moving out of the county to other parts of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
