According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for Maine was 11,600. York County had the highest net domestic migration (2,111) followed by Penobscot County (1,481), and Kennebec County (1,161). On the other hand, Sagadahoc County had the lowest net domestic migration (326), followed by Piscataquis County (337), and Knox County (344).
