According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2011, the net domestic migration for Massachusetts was -5,601. Barnstable County had the highest net domestic migration (475) followed by Norfolk County (431), and Essex County (347). On the other hand, Hampden County had the lowest net domestic migration (-2,103), followed by Suffolk County (-1,751), and Worcester County (-1,636).
