According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2014, the net domestic migration for Mississippi was -9,020. DeSoto County had the highest net domestic migration (1,521) followed by Harrison County (910), and Madison County (862). On the other hand, Hinds County had the lowest net domestic migration (-2,483), followed by Forrest County (-1,272), and Lauderdale County (-1,168).
