According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for Mississippi was -5,716. DeSoto County had the highest net domestic migration (2,237) followed by Harrison County (1,231), and Madison County (1,101). On the other hand, Hinds County had the lowest net domestic migration (-5,097), followed by Washington County (-968), and Leflore County (-738).
