According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for North Dakota was -2,727. Cass County had the highest net domestic migration (1,639) followed by Morton County (85), and McLean County (56). On the other hand, Ward County had the lowest net domestic migration (-1,109), followed by Williams County (-990), and Grand Forks County (-554).
