According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2018, the net domestic migration for West Virginia was -7,734. Berkeley County had the highest net domestic migration (1,935) followed by Jefferson County (438), and Morgan County (197). On the other hand, Kanawha County had the lowest net domestic migration (-2,191), followed by Cabell County (-1,251), and Wood County (-655).
