According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for Kansas was -0.65. Comanche County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (23.35) followed by Woodson County (21.02), and Elk County (17.24). On the other hand, Stanton County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-36.96), followed by Geary County (-35.01), and Greeley County (-33.56).
