Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, among all US states and DC, California had the highest number of people who identified their race as Asian Alone (5.30M), followed by New York (1.57M), and Texas (1.11M).

On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of people that identified as Asian Alone (5.28K), followed by Montana (7.21K), and North Dakota (8.37K).
