Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2020, among all US states and DC, New York had the highest number of people who identified their race as Hispanic Black or African American (653.43K), followed by California (342.31K), and Florida (312.72K).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest number of people that identified as Hispanic Black or African American (698), followed by Vermont (743), and South Dakota (947).
