Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, among all US states and DC, California had the highest number of people who identified their race as Hispanic or Latino (15.29M), followed by Texas (11.10M), and Florida (5.33M).

On the other hand, Vermont had the lowest number of people that identified as Hispanic or Latino (12.16K), followed by Maine (22.13K), and North Dakota (28.70K).
