Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest number of people who identified their race as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (3.09M), followed by Georgia (3.06M), and Florida (3.05M).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest number of people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (4.93K), followed by Vermont (6.77K), and Wyoming (7.61K).
