Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2014, among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest number of people who identified their race as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (3.16M), followed by Georgia (3.11M), and Florida (3.10M).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest number of people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (4.97K), followed by Wyoming (6.87K), and Vermont (6.89K).
