Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest number of people who identified their race as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (3.24M), followed by Georgia (3.16M), and Florida (3.16M).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest number of people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (5.09K), followed by Wyoming (6.41K), and Vermont (7.23K).
