Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2019, among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest number of people who identified their race as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (3.52M), followed by Georgia (3.37M), and Florida (3.35M).

On the other hand, Montana had the lowest number of people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (5.70K), followed by Wyoming (6.07K), and Vermont (8.05K).
