Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest number of people who identified their race as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (3.69M), followed by Georgia (3.44M), and Florida (3.40M).

On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (5.92K), followed by Montana (6.10K), and Vermont (8.66K).
