Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest number of people who identified their race as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (3.78M), followed by Georgia (3.50M), and Florida (3.44M).

On the other hand, Wyoming had the lowest number of people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American (6.00K), followed by Montana (6.15K), and Vermont (9.10K).
