Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, among all US states and DC, Maine had the highest percentage of its population who identified their race as Non-Hispanic White (91.81%), followed by Vermont (91.45%), and West Virginia (90.93%).

On the other hand, Hawaii had the lowest percentage of its population who identified as Non-Hispanic White (21.52%), followed by California (34.29%), and New Mexico (36.77%).
