Trend of US Asian Alone Population By Generation (Foreign-Born)

According to data from the US Census Bureau, in 2024, the US first generation (foreign-born) Asian Alone population was 13,290,000 (60.9% of US Asian Alone population). The second generation Asian Alone population was 6,678,000 (30.6% of US Asian Alone population). And, the third-and-higher generation Asian Alone population was 1,856,000 (8.5% of US Asian Alone population).

NB: Universe is the civilian noninstitutionalized population of the United States, plus members of the Armed Forces living off post, or with their families on post, with at least one civilian adult.
