Recall Description:

WASHINGTON, DC - Oriental Trading Company of Omaha, Neb., is voluntarily recalling its Sweetheart Rainbow Kids dolls because the arms and shoes can come off and present a choking hazard to young children. Neither the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission nor the Oriental Trading Company is aware of any reports of injuries involving the doll. The dolls, which are 5 1/2 inches tall, have rosy cheeks with freckles, striped caps, simple clothes and white plastic shoes. "Made in Hong Kong" is stamped on the doll's back. Some 45,000 dolls were sold nationwide between February 1986 and March 1988. Consumers should immediately take the dolls away from young children and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
