Recall Description:

WASHINGTON, D.C. - CPSC, Target Stores of Minneapolis, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 15,500 two-pack, decorated Christmas pacifiers. Target received one report of a nipple separating from the plastic shield of one of the decorated pacifiers. While no injury resulted, the nipple, if separated, presents a possible serious choking hazard to young children. The pacifiers, packed two to a carton, have a small red rigid handle assembly and a standard-sized, curved, white plastic shield decorated with either Christmas Reindeer, Santas, Elves, or Snowmen. Each pacifier pattern is packaged separately, two pacifiers blister-packed on a red and white card decorated with a reindeer wearing a Santa suit labeled, "DECORATED PACIFIERS." Target Stores sold the pacifiers from October 1994 to December 1994 for $1.25. Consumers should immediately discontinue use of the pacifiers and return the pacifiers to the nearest Target store for a full refund.
