Recall Description:

PRODUCT: Christmas Lights - Sun Sun Industries Inc., of Carlstadt, N.J., is recalling 12,000 sets of miniature Christmas lights. The recalled lights are sets of 100 miniature lights in various colors that are steady burning or flashing. The red box reads in part, "100 MINIATURE LIGHTS, MADE IN CHINA, IMPORTED BY SUN SUN INDUSTRIES, INC." A Christmas tree is on the box. The lights were sold in M&S Bargain Hunter stores throughout New York from October 2000 to December 2000 for about $2. PROBLEM: The lights have undersized wires that can easily pull out of the plugs and light sockets, posing electric shock and fire hazards to consumers. INCIDENTS/INJURIES: None reported. WHAT TO DO: Stop using the lights immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund. Call Sun Sun Industries collect at (201) 935-4637 between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday for more information.
