Recall Description:

Harry and David of Medford, Ore., is voluntarily recalling about 280 Outdoor Lanterns. The recalled candle lanterns are approximately 5", 7", and 9" square. They are made of rustproof galvanized steel, lined with glass panels and a hanger at the top. Each lantern has a holder for placing a candle inside the lantern. Harry and David Holiday 2001 Easy Entertaining Catalog offered the product under item #14844U. The lanterns were sold as a set of three, nationwide from September 2001 through November 2001 for about $60.

Hazard Description:

The solder attaching the hanger at the top of the lantern may melt from the heat of a candle causing the lantern to detach from the hanger posing a fire hazard.
