WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Determined Productions Inc., of Larkspur, Calif., is voluntarily recalling 90,000 Plush Frog Stuffed Animals. The seams in the toy can tear open and expose small plastic pellets, posing a choking or aspiration hazard to young children who mouth the pellets. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.Name of product: Plush Frog Stuffed Animal.Units: 90,000Manufacturer: Determined Productions Inc., of Larkspur, Calif.Hazard: The seams in the toy can tear open and expose small plastic pellets, posing a choking or aspiration hazard to young children who mouth the pellets.Incidents/Injuries: Determined Productions has received one report of seam breakage on the toy, resulting in a child choking on the plastic pellets. The child was taken to the hospital and released without any injury after a procedure to look for aspirated beads.Description: The recalled toy is an 11-inch purple stuffed frog with a green chin, belly, hands and feet.
