CPSC Recall in 2004: CPSC, Sportcraft Announce Recall of Tredex Treadmills

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Sportcraft Ltd., of Mt. Olive, N.J., is voluntarily recalling 320 Tredex 10.0 treadmills. The treadmill's circuitry can overheat, causing it to unexpectedly accelerate during use. It is gray and has a gray control panel. The name "Tredex 10.0" appears on the control console of the treadmill and on the motor cover of the treadmill.
