WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Rhode Island Novelty, of Cumberland, R.I., is voluntarily recalling about 48,000 Children's Powerpuff Girls necklaces. The recalled jewelry contains high levels of lead. The pendants are in the shape of the head of one of three "Powerpuff Girls" cartoon characters.
