WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Best Buy Co. Inc., of Richfield, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 10,000 Remote Controls Sold With Insignia 100W DVD Compact Shelf System. If the batteries are placed backwards in the remote control with the positive and negative sides improperly switched, overheating can result and present a burn hazard.Name of product: Remote Control Sold With Insignia 100W DVD Compact Shelf SystemUnits: About 10,000Retailer: Best Buy Co.
