WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Acer America Corporation, of San Jose, Calif., is voluntarily recalling about 27,000 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries containing Sony-made cells used in Acer notebook computers.
