In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Berkline Benchcraft LLC, of Morristown, Tenn., is voluntarily recalling about 1,700 Berkline Heated Massage Recliners. The control device that adjusts the heat and massage settings can overheat, posing a burn hazard to consumers. Name of Product: Berkline Heated Massage ReclinersUnits: About 1,700Manufacturer: Berkline Benchcraft LLC, of Morristown, Tenn.Hazard: The control device that adjusts the heat and massage settings can overheat, posing a burn hazard to consumers.Incidents/Injuries: Berkline has received three reports of the control device overheating. No injuries have been reported.Description: This recall involves the Berkline heated massage recliners with model number 13071 and piece code number 2700. The brand name, the model number, and the piece code can be found on the bill of sale and/or product packaging.
