WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Antioch Publishing, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, is voluntarily recalling about 200,000 (an additional 150,000 bookmarks and journals were recalled on October 4, 2007) Cool Clip and Mini Cool Clip Bookmarks. Paint on the clip of the bookmarks contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard.Name of Product: Cool Clip™ and Mini Cool Clip™ BookmarksUnits: About 200,000 (an additional 150,000 bookmarks and journals were recalled on October 4, 2007)Importer: Antioch Publishing, of Yellow Springs, OhioHazard: Paint on the clip of the bookmarks contains excessive levels of lead, which violates the federal lead paint standard.Incidents/Injuries: None reported.Description: This recall involves various designs of the Cool Clip and Mini Cool Clip bookmarks.
