WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Target, of Minneapolis, Minn., is voluntarily recalling about 40,000 Home Patio Sets. The chair can collapse when weight is applied to the front end of the arm rests, posing a fall hazard to consumers.Name of Product: Home Patio SetsUnits: About 40,000Importer: Target, of Minneapolis, Minn.Hazard: The chair can collapse when weight is applied to the front end of the arm rests, posing a fall hazard to consumers.Incidents/Injuries: Target has received 35 reports of chairs collapsing, resulting in 18 injuries such as bruising to the back, hips, shoulders, arms and finger lacerations.Description: This recall involves six-piece home patio sets sold exclusively at Target. The set consists of a table, an umbrella, and four chairs.
