WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), La Femme NY 2 Inc., of Brooklyn, N.Y., of Maywood, N.J., is voluntarily recalling about 4,500 La Femme NY Children's Necklace and Earring Sets. The recalled jewelry contains high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.Name of Product: La Femme NY Children's Necklace and Earring SetsUnits: 4,500Manufacturer: La Femme NY 2 Inc., of Brooklyn, N.Y.Hazard: The recalled jewelry contains high levels of lead.
