WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Farouk Systems Inc., of Houston, Texas, is voluntarily recalling about 5,700 WEE CHI Ceramic Hairstyling Irons. The iron's "on/off" switch was installed incorrectly. When the iron is plugged in and switch is in the "off" position, the iron remains "on," which could pose fire and burn hazards.Name of Product: WEE CHI Ceramic Hairstyling IronsUnits: About 5,700Importer/Distributor: Farouk Systems Inc., of Houston, TexasHazard: The iron's "on/off" switch was installed incorrectly. "CHI" is printed on the iron in red lettering.
